This place was great! Food was phenomenal. We had the appetizer seafood trio (shrimp, oysters and tuna crude), veal chop, lasagna, chocolate cake and ice cream sundae scoop. The lasagna was extra cheesy for cheese lovers. The chocolate cake was the best we’ve had and the ice cream sundae scoop was delicious. Service was amazing and very attentive. Cocktails and wine were to die for - SO good. We reserved a lounge table. We’ve never been and I was nervous the restaurant would be stuffy/pretentious. We were hoping for an elegant but fun Friday happy hour and dinner. The lounge was nice..It was small and intimate. There weren’t many people and early on there were a couple of families with younger kids. The only negative thing I have to say is that we couldn’t help but feel that this restaurant really could have been anywhere. We’re from Chicago and this could have been a number of nice restaurants in Chicago. It didn’t really feel like we were in Miami..if you know what I mean. But, it was lovely regardless!
The Surf Club is located inside of Four Seasons restaurant. The environment is top tier. I really love the caviar warm soft boiled egg. Steak is also great.
If there is a place you wanna go for anniversary, please please check this spot.
Sadly I was eating alone, and I think I was the only one who’s eating alone in the restaurant, which limited my option of ordering food🙃🙃. I wanna try the Wellington so bad! Anyway still it’s a memorable night, cheers to single life.
What truly makes this surf club stand out is its culinary offerings. There menu takes it up several notches with a unique twist on cuisine. Combining local flavors with international influences, each dish presented innovative combinations that delighted both my taste buds and my sense of adventure.
With its great atmosphere, attentive service, and culinary delights that push boundaries, it offers an unforgettable experience that will leave you craving more. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to add this gem to your must-visit list.
What a phenomenal experience! We had a spectacular time at the Surf Club. Everything from the food to the service was immaculate. I love the design of the restaurant, it has a beautiful feel in the day time and is very intimate at night too.
We started with the French onion dip and the kettle chips which were some of the best I’ve had!! They were so good that I had them package the rest up to go (I happily ate them the next day).
We ordered the Caesar Salad, Oysters Rockefeller and Bay Scallop Crudo to start which were delicious. My mum ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with black winter truffles, which you’d think to overlook since you could get it a million other places but it’s outstanding and perfected to a t. We also got the lamb chops and one of the specials: the Beef Stroganoff (absolutely blew my taste buds away and tasted like home on a cozy winter night). Lastly, we polished off the dessert special of the night: chocolate soufflé!
A solid Michelin star restaurant. The service is excellent and accommodating. The food ranges from good to excellent. The highlight for me was definitely the ribeye. I don't recall having ever had such a good ribeye. I agree with Michelin: it's worth a visit.
Elegant and luxurious aesthetic, the restaurant has been designed with the spirit of Miami in mind. Imaginatively brought to life through the implementation of art deco-inspired chandeliers, an oversized hand-painted mural and verdant planting native to Miami, the restaurant revives its reputation as iconic members' club to the prominent and illustrious names of the golden era. On arrival guests are welcomed by a stylish colour palette of Aurelian blue, dusty pink and mulberry red that work in partnership with sleek timber panelling and brass detailing. Art deco-inspired chandeliers and mirrored detailing reflect the beaded ceiling to create an interior that feels modern and glamorous yet anchored in tradition. The semi-open nature of the bar and restaurant ensures the flow of the space is uninterrupted and encourages an atmosphere that is animated yet intimate, while leather banquette seating further helps the space to strike a balance between informality and luxury.
Artworks by British mural artist Gary Myatt and American illustrator Donald Robertson help bring the interiors together in a whimsical fashion, providing reminiscent throwbacks to the restaurant's exciting heritage. The hand-painted mural also helps create a sense of optical illusion with each section of the mural depicting a "window" which looks out onto the ocean beyond, surrounded by exotic birds and sporting paraphernalia.
There’s no wonder why Surf Club boasts a Michelin star. Everything from walking though the doors to the professionalism of the workers to their service and food was superb. The restaurant is part of a much bigger hotel so it can give you the resort feeling while you’re dining here (which we liked). The lobster Thermidor is to die for (it wont be hot, it’ll be warm/room temperature which is how it’s supposed to be served). Their lamb chops are delicate and succulent. All of their drinks and dishes look like fine art—we didn’t even want to touch or eat them. But we did and we would definitely eat here, again. Be prepared to pay $400+ for an average dinner for two.
Amazing from start to finish. Service is so pro. Amazing setting. Even the butter service is a show. Had the Caesar salad, beef tartar, Sea Bass and my wife had lasagna. Everything was incredible. Definitely an experience.
